The Challenge: Free Agents Week 4

A quick review of last night’s episode of The Challenge: Free Agents. After a quick game of ‘Bounce Up’ which basically looked like a bunch of bobble heads playing soccer, the winning team (Johnny Bananas) had to choose who they wanted to vote in for eliminations.

The house chose:
LaToya and Brandon

LaToya was all like “Aright then let’s kick it” because at this point she’s uber confident that she can come back from an elimination round.

Brandon on the other hand, is the worst Challenge player ever. He literally hasn’t won anything, I don’t even know why he keeps coming back on the show. At this point, his replacement ‘Swift’ who I’m sure people get him mixed up with is doing a whole lot better. And by a whole lot I really mean hanging by threads.

During the vote session Aneesa turns up her sass when she overhears Laurel telling everyone to vote for her. Aneesa takes the time to educate Laurel on the theme of this seasons Challenge, which is ‘Free Agents’ so everyone is free to vote for whomever they please. TJ breaks up the verbal dispute- I’ve actually never seen TJ get that mad on the show ever. He shuts those two girls up within miliseconds. Editing as always, was stellar.ChallengeToya2

I just want to add here that LaToya is officially my favourite Rookie ever. Not only is she feisty and delivers a mean come back…she does it with style and grace. And that people, is what you call star quality.

In the elimination round, Zach pulled up the death card and Brandon instantly new he was a goner. Cara Marie pulled the unlucky card for the second week in a row. Literally, this looked like the easiest eliminatoin round for both contestants. Zach and Cara Marie both won if you didn’t guess that already.

Snooki & JWOWW: Chocolate Nuts

After another brutal fight with Roger for apparently lying to him, Jenni decides to give their relationship another chance by letting/begging Roger to come by for the weekend so the cast can do the double date thing. It seems like most of the show is Snooki and Jwoww with their better halves- Jionni and Roger! Not that we’re complaining, the foursome make for an entertaining crew, especially when Snooki decides to take everyone to the drag show!

After all it is New York City, so why wouldn’t you want drag queens dancing around while you’re eating dinner? Snooki and Jenni take the boys to a night out on the town, but when ‘Chocolate’ asks Jionni if he likes…nuts with his chocolate…the boys realize how much trouble they’re in. Obviously, the dancers bring the boys onto the stage and end up giving them lap dances. Jionni was sweating up a storm, and Roger seemed like he was enjoying it!

Later that weekend, Jionni organizes an engagement dinner for him and Snooki, inviting her family as well as Roger and Jenni. Seriously, Jionni is the cutest thing ever, his family seems normal and amazing, Snooki is SO lucky to have found this diamond in the rough…and by rough I mean the Jersey Shore. Who knew they would end up pregnant, engaged…and meeting each other’s family for a normal dinner!

The gang head back to their crib, Jenni passes out from a food coma, Roger doesn’t get laid…and Snooki and Jionni end up cuddling! We went from watching a bunch of crazies down at the Shore, to literally watching a family sitcom. Merp! Loves it.

Real World: St.Thomas

The morning after the first night, the kids are ready to explore the islands and escape theirs. They head to a place called Paradise Point, spend the day there, and really not much happens except for Toya keeping her eye on Laura and Trey.

Trey confronts Brandon about reading his journal and finding some suicidal comments in it. Brandon admits he writes those things to get himself into a dark place to continue writing in his journal….

At night they go to a local club, it looks like everyone’s having a good time, Brandon’s dancing with a girl that looks completely out of his league, but good for him. Some dude tells Brandon to back off because she ‘belongs’ to someone else, he freaks out and starts saying how he’s going to fight someone. Like Brandon, you’re stuck on an island with roommates who will probably run at the sight of a punch, and it looks like the other guy has a ton of back up, just stop.

Trey and Laura move fast, they enjoy a romantic makeout session on the ferris wheel, and then Trey freaks out on her that they’re moving too fast. Apparently, Trey has a girl back home and he doesn’t want to rush into anything on the island. Laura doesn’t understand what he’s saying because she just wants to flirt.

Ginger and Marie both meet good looking people at the club, Marie takes Max home, and Ginger comes home solo. I love watching these two, you can tell they have such chemistry, but neither one is jumping into that ‘romantic’ territory yet. In the end they set up a double date, neither one wanting to see their partners, so they just cancel and go out with each other!

Battle Of The Exes:Meet Me At The Altar!

This season of Battle Of The Exes has been flyin’ by…most likely because we lost 4 teams in 2 weeks…and now the episodes are being dragged on…but meh we’re not complaining!

The season is just getting interesting, with only the best of teams leftover…and it’s really hard to choose a couple that goes into the Dome. This week’s episode had the cutest challenge ever…teams had to basically race to the altar…stopping off at different checkpoints before the big moment.

Obviously, CT and Diem won the challenge making them power couple, the best part was seeing them together at the altar…being the wonderful couple that they are. They were even trending on Twitter during the episode last night. Paula and Dunbar weren’t too far behind, but Dunbar couldn’t run fast enough while carrying Paula in his arms.

Johnny and Camilla were eliminated second to last, they couldn’t finish the two top tiers of the wedding cake…and had to sit out for the rest of the game alongside Ty and Emily.

Ty and Emily were automatically forced into the Dome…and later on CT and Diem debated on who to vote into the Dome with them. While they were deciding, Emily and Camilla decided to play a practical joke on Ty and Paula. Emily put chocolate on her face (disguising as Ty)…and Camilla painted herself white to play Paula. They were mimicking all the things Ty and Paula would say to one another, however nobody found it funny. Ty was instantly upset, Paula didn’t really care for it, and the rest of the house was a little confused. Right away everyone attacked Emily, which was ridiculous because she was just making a joke. It’s clear that she didn’t do it out of ill will, but Ty is clearly over emotional and took it the wrong way. Some people were saying it was extremely ‘racist’ which is crazy because you could tell they just wanted to make everyone laugh.

Ty ran to his room and started packing, saying he wanted to leave that night. The boys try to calm him down, and make him stay one more night. Emily is freaking out because she’s so close to the finals, she doesn’t want to see her partner go…which would probably send her home as well.

In the morning, Ty sees clearly, and he talks it out with Emily, they’re fine and still in the game. In the end, CT and Diem finally make their decision, however the episode finishes…and we have to wait until next week to find out who they vote in. My guess is Paula and Dunbar.

Here’s a look at whose left.

The Next Real World…

Since MTV’s The Challenge:Rivals is coming to an end…this only means the next season of The Real World is just around the corner.

Brace yourself…the next season is rumored to be returning to San Diego! Apparently, the house is around 6000 square feet…and worth millions! Local neighbours apparently reported to a news channel that MTV was filming a show on their street. When reporters confronted the producers at the house…they had nothing to say (surprise)

But, nothing is for sure- so we’ll just have to wait and see for the next Real World Promos!

The Challenge: Rivals UPDATE!!

Here is your weekly update of MTV’s The Challenge:Rivals. With the show almost coming to an end…the cast is surprised to hear that the next few challenges will take place 3000 miles away in Argentina. Finishing off last week’s episode was the elimination of a girls team Jonne and Jasmine. This week would have been the last elimination for the guys, however MTV decided to prolong that elimination round for next week’s episode.

The episode covered mostly the cast and how they were dealing with leaving Costa Rica for Argentina, and obviously all the drama that has followed them throughout the season. The actual challenge part of this episode literally lasted 5 minutes.

Crazy Cara Maria finds herself in another fight with the household (she can’t get along with anyone) and her teammate Laurel has no choice but to defend her. This sends the entire house into an angry rage…Wes dumps a bottle of Cola over CaraMaria…Paula keeps making fun of her….meanwhile Jenn and Adam are hooking up.

In my opinion, I think Cara Maria is a nut case, she thinks shes made for this game but really she’s not. Last season she had her boyfriend Abram basically carry her through the show, until literally the end where Abe fell sick and couldn’t finish the final race. The only reason she’s still around this season is because of Laurel. Having said that, nobody deserves to be picked on continously like she has throughout these Challenges.

I think last night was the last time Laurel would have anyone insult her teammate so she went to her defense. Paula, who wasn’t backing down from the fight, and kept throwing insults at Cara started to cry when Laurel verbally attacked her. How are you going to cry…when 15 minutes before you were hacking away at Cara Maria. Although Laurel was bringing up Paula’s personal problems (anorexia), when Paula started the fight with Cara Maria she should have been prepared for the backlash.

CT is still looking fine as usual, although him and Adam did DQ on this week’s challenge. (that’s a first for CT)

After Kenny/Wes and Johnny/Tyler DQ…it’s up to the girls to decided which of those 2 teams will face Superman CT and Adam. Luckily, for the rookies MikeMike/LeRoy they finish the challenge without DQing, which grants them a win…and a guaranteed spot in the final race for the money.

Johnny gets heated when the team decides to vote him and Tyler into the Jungle…everyone is literally terrified of CT.

We’ll see what happens next week. Here’s whose going into the Jungle next week.

Don’t forget to watch the Jersey Shore tonight on MTV!!

MTV’s The Rivals: Update

Last night was another amazing episode of MTV’s The Challenge:Rivals. Unfortunately, my favourite rookie team (Jonne and Jasmine) were booted off after being voted into the jungle with Laurel and Cara.

The best moment was when the entire cast decided to root for the rookies Jasmine and Jonne instead of the vets Laurel and Cara. When the jungle game was announced ‘blast off’ it was obvious that Laurel and Cara would obviously take it.

Here’s a look at whose left.

Next week: The cast gets a surprise text that inevitably sends them 3000 miles away to Argentina. It’s only getting better! Stay tuned.

Side Note: Jenn would totally knockout CaraMaria anyday!

MTV’s The Challenge:Rivals

Last night was another episode of MTV’s The Challenge:Rivals. The cast got a chance to let loose, go out to a club, where unfortunately CT was getting his flirt on with Mandy and Laurel. Both girls, including every female viewer has fallen in love with CT this season. The two girls are ignoring the fact that CT is playing them both in the game, but they don’t really care! Clearly, Laurel just wants to taste CT’s gum.

Wes is still weird, everything about him is weird, but one thing is true he’s carrying Kenny throughout this entire season. Once again, Kenny and Wes were at the bottom of the challenge facing elimination. The rest voted in Brandon and Ty…and obviously Wes and Kenny won (they never lose)

Sorry to see Brandon leave…but I’ve never liked Ty (Real World:DC). Stay tuned for next week!

MTV’s The Challenge:Rivals

This week was the third episode of this season’s The Challenge Rivals. Once again, my favourite team from the guys CT and Adam won the Challenge, however it was the girls that were up for elimination this week.

Laurel and CaraMaria were DQed in the Challenge which forced them to go into the jungle. The rest of the cast voted for Camille and Theresa to join them. The final game was almost like a puzzle…but it required a lot of running around. Anyways, the team that won was Laurel and CaraMaria so we’ll be seeing them next week. Not that crazy about those two girls…I hope Paula can somehow get Laurel out of the game soon!

As for the guys…MikeMike from Real World Las Vegas was hurt bad on this week’s Challenge, when LeeRoy landed on him in the water. He’s fine…and we’ll be seeing those two next week as well. And crazy Wes was last seen plotting CT’s takedown, although that might be kind of hard since CT and Adam keep winning the challenges, excluding them from the elimination round.

Follow the entire cast on Twitter!

Here’s a look at whose still left.

The Challenge:Rivals

Last night was the final episode of The Real World Las Vegas crew in “The Shit They Should’ve Shown”. I wasn’t too crazy about this season, and that’s why I’m ready for the next season of The Challenge. Although the cast in the new season looks as crazy as always, they’re missing my favourite cast from New Orleans!! Which is kind of weird because they have LeRoy and Adam from the latest season in Vegas, but nobody from Orleans. I’m assuming nobody really hated each other that much in New Orleans to be casted for The Challenge.

Predictions…probably Johnny Bananas,Kenny,Evan will take home the money again (they always do). But, I think I’m going for Paula or Evan, Paula’s always on these challenges I want her to win and Evan I love because he’s Canadian. I think he’s the only Canadian that ever made it to these real world/road rules challenges on MTV. Oh, and expect CJ to get in a fight and sent home all in the first episode…we’ve seen that before!

Season starts June 22nd on MTV.Check out the trailer.
