GIRLS: 911

So it seemed like in this week’s episode of Girls everyone needed a little bit of help- even if it meant calling the popo.

Elijah is trying to justify cheating on his boyfriend by telling him he only slept with Marnie and it was ‘like 3 pumps’. His boyfriend is worried that Elijah might not be gay, Elijah claims he’s bisexual but it seems like he’s trying to hide behind that because he couldn’t really do anything with Marnie.

Hannah is trying to explain to Elijah her drama with Adam, she asks him if he’s okay with his breakup and why it even happened. Elijah doesn’t really want to talk about it because Hannah doesn’t know he tried to hook up with Marnie.

Later, Marnie runs into Elijah and they both agree not to tell Hannah.

After a brief conversation with Jess and her new pups, Hannah realizes Sandy might not be into her as much as she had thought. Jess tells Hannah “If he’s not reading your essays he’s not readying you” Great advice coming from the woman who found happiness in the most unexpected way.

Marnie is trying really really hard to find a new job. She applies to another studio owned by Lena Dunham’s real life mother (that’s not relevant). The interview is a complete bomb, and Marnie gets the smart idea to use her looks to land a paying job. Shosh plays a hand in this when she calls up her hostess friend to hook up Marnie.

Hannah and Sandy have their first and last fight. After we learn Sandy is a hardcore Republican and that he didn’t really like Hannah’s essay, she finds a way to create a random argument. The conversation escalates…and they break up…no break up sex involved.

Hannah gets a surprising visit from Adam, one that leaves her debating whether or not to call the police. Hannah freaks out on him and tells him to leave. It looks like Adam has finally gotten the point, he’s about to leave when the popo’s show up. Apparently, Hannah let the call go too long and the police show up at the building. Duh that’s their job! Hannah apologizes and begs them to go away but they can’t just leave. Turns out Adam has a pending charge for a parking ticket? He gets locked up- and Hannah feels terrible. Or does she?
